who gave himself (Jesus) for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. – Titus 2:14But, what is our motivation for doing good? Do we have a passion to do what is good or do we do good out of duty or an expectation? Paul isn’t talking about doing good out of religious duty. Rather, he is talking about a passion to do good that flows from a changed heart; a heart surrendered to Christ; a heart made alive by Christ. So, are we eager to do good?
