All we need in Him

In Peter’s second letter he clearly states that as Christians, we have all we need in Christ to reach spiritual maturity. Because spiritual maturity begins with Christ, and is based on His powerful grace, we have no excuse for not growing in our faith. God’s provision of power and truth is available to all of us. The fault rests solely on us if we do not appropriate it.
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. – 2 Peter 1:3-4
Paul tells us in his letter to Titus that; “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age…” – Titus 2:11-12

God has given us all we need to say “no” to the world and to say “yes” to Him. We are without excuse. I consider this to be great news. Pour your grace out on me Lord. I want to love you more.
